 How we facilitate your coaching engagement

CONTAINER OF SAFETY

We believe the coach and client must establish together a container of safety over a period of time. This enables the client to dive deeply within themselves, to define precise problems, to recognize new solutions, resulting in transcended limits and the breaking of new ground.

COGNITIVE NAVIGATION

In the safety of the container, the client brings a precisely defined question they wish to explore and an undefined horizon line toward which to cognitively sail.  The coach takes primary responsibility for the space, and shifts into a role of objective listening, rapt attention, and cognitive navigation

POSSIBILITY

The client is invited to open into a broad space of possibility, leveraging the subject matter expertise of the coach to facilitate the realization of non-ordinary solutions to common problems.

DIFFERENT FROM THERAPY

Crucially, coaching is not therapy. Our approach is designed to invite the client to draw from active belief sets, values, language and behavior patterns. Practical solutions are harvested in collaboration with the broad perspective and expertise of the coach.

PARTNERSHIP IN DISCOVERY

The coach is an equal partner in discovery; neither above nor beneath the client but is always beside them.

For the duration of any engagement, clients are responsible for the progress they make; energy levels, risk tolerance, curiosity, and innovation are a spectrum.

The coach brings 100% of their attention, active listening, and empathic capacity. Most coaches and consultants sell boxed solutions at a high cost.
