SACHA LINDEKENS

Sacha is a seasoned leadership development expert with more than 25 years of experience in the field. He has written extensively about how leaders promote meaningful development within themselves and their team members. He is a co-author of Ready, Set, RIPEN! A Leader’s Guide to Preparing People for Development and How Leaders Improve: A Playbook for Leaders Who Want to Get Better Now, both of which were Amazon best sellers. Additionally, he has written numerous articles on topics related to executive development.

Sacha’s leadership development practice places a premium on the integration of scientifically supported theories of leadership and influence with a down to earth and practical approach to consulting. He has partnered with numerous global organizations in developing customized 360 feedback experiences to promote the thoughtful selection and development of leadership talent. He also engages in considerable classroom facilitation and coaching of leaders on topics related to emotional intelligence, influence, and the pursuit of a purpose driven career which embraces possibility. In his capacity as a coach/facilitator, Sacha strives to blend “going deep” with focusing on having practical impact on the job, as on-the-job behavior change represents the ROI of an organization’s investment into leadership development.

Sacha has been a Partner with Avion Consulting since January 2015. Preceding Avion, Sacha worked as a consultant at Leadership Research Institute for 13 years. Prior to LRI, Sacha was trained as a psychologist, receiving his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Florida. He subsequently worked as a therapist, teaching a variety of university level courses. He also assisted an NFL team in conducting psychological profiles on incoming rookies to determine draftability and fit with the organization.

Sacha and his wife live in Carlsbad, California with their two daughters. He enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities including surfing, gardening, hiking, mountain biking and golfing, all of which support and inform his work.
